Nafas Fitness Studios’ mission is to offer a variety of fitness and dance classes to keep your journey fun and exciting! One of the reasons why our members absolutely love Nafas is our large selection of fitness, dance, and yoga classes. Keep coming back to check for special events, new, and monthly/yearly classes. Cardio

Our dance fitness classes are focused on cardiovascular exercise. Instructors plan easy-to-follow choreography that keeps you moving to raise your heart rate. That said, there are slower-paced classes that focus on different goals, such as barre and pilates.

Yoga
In our personalized, small group yoga classes, you won’t get lost in the crowd. Nafas has a separate yoga studio that provides a quiet, meditative environment. You will be guided in your practice by well-trained, experienced teachers who individualize each class so that all students experience both their edge and success. Our classes focus on stress relief while improving your body.

Tighten and Tone
Tighten & Tone

Tighten & Tone is a great way to define, sculpt, and build lean muscle. Tighten & Tone focuses on intense isolation exercises with free weight and resistance, ending with an ab workout.

Tabata Training
Tabata Training

Tabata Training is a high-intensity interval training (HIIT) that consists of eight sets of 20 seconds of exercise at maximum effort each followed by a 10-second rest. Tabata Training at Nafas will raise your metabolism and heart rate in no time, helping you burn fat and build muscle.

Nafas Circuit
Nafas Circuit

Nafas Circuit is a workout technique involving a series of exercises performed in rotation with minimal rest. Patrons of Nafas Circuit will use a variety of equipment such as treadmills, ski machines, weight benches, TRX bands, etc. all located at Nafas’ studio.

Morning Blast
Morning Blast

Wake your body up with a series of cardiovascular and strength training exercises. Morning Blast uses a variety of equipment, such as weights, resistance bands, and jump ropes. All of which, are provided at the Nafas’ studio to make your Morning Blast a little easier.

Fitness Bootcamp
Fitness Bootcamp

A challenging and varied workout, Fitness Bootcamp calls for bursts of intense active movement alternated with intervals of lighter exercise. Each Fitness Bootcamp session includes a fairly intense mix of aerobic, strength, and speed training.

Dance & Core

Our dance fitness classes are focused on cardiovascular exercise. Instructors plan easy-to-follow choreography that keeps you moving to raise your heart rate. That said, there are slower-paced classes that focus on different goals, such as barre and pilates.

Zumba
Zumba

Zumba at Nafas is a Latin-inspired but not limited to, cardio-dance program that is fun, energizing, and easy-to-follow. Each Zumba instructor brings their own style and dance moves to the studio floor. Music and choreographed steps create a fitness party atmosphere. Get ready to move your body and join the party!

B. Barre Fit
B. Barre Fit

B. Barre Fit focuses on high reps of small range movements at the ballet barre and studio floor. Classical dance movements and positions are combined with equipment provided by Nafas such as weights, sliders, resistance bands, etc..

B. Barre Fit will keep you on your toes! Please bring barre socks. If needed, we have some to purchase at Nafas

Pilates
Pilates

Pilates at Nafas is a non-impact system of exercise and stretches that focus on the deep muscles of the abdomen and spine. This pilates class will give you long, lean, strong yet flexible muscles without the bulk. Specialized pilates equipment is provided for the class.

Booty Buns
Booty Bunz

The name says it all! Have fun building muscle in your glutes with your friends at Nafas. This Booty Bunz class will provide easy-to-follow choreographed booty-building steps, the latest in hip hop music, and some butt-targeting resistance training. Shake up your routine and that newly sculpted booty!

Belly Dancing Basics
Belly Dancing Basics

Belly Dancing Basics is a fun and low impact class that will help tone muscles, tighten your core and lengthen the body. Learn basic belly dance techniques including proper posture, isolation, traveling steps, and simple combinations. No experience is necessary and all levels are welcome.

Adult Tap
Adult Tap

Have you always wanted to try a tap class? Have you taken tap as a kid and want to get back into it? Now, here is your opportunity! In this Adult Tap class, you will learn, or review basic rhythms and traveling steps. Exercises focus on building flexibility of the knee and ankles, coordination, and movement.

Tap shoes are needed for this class. Please bring your own. We have some available to borrow, but our selection is limited.

Yoga

Yoga Basics

In Yoga Basic, the foundational yoga postures are practiced to align, strengthen, and promote flexibility in the body. You can expect an emphasis on simplicity, repetition, and ease of movement in this class. Yoga Basic is designed for the beginner or anyone who wants a more calming, gentle yoga practice.

Slow Flow
Slow Flow

Slow Flow is a creative, therapeutic flow designed to bring balance to the body and mind through holding poses, as well as exploring what each pose has to offer you. This Slow Flow class will focus on breath and relaxing the nervous system, resulting in improving mental and physical strength.

All Levels Yoga
All Levels Yoga

All Levels Yoga is catered to fit the needs of everyone. Classic yoga poses are practiced with an emphasis on alignment. Modification options will be provided to suit everyone’s comfort level and yoga practice.

Vinyasa
Vinyasa

Vinyasa offers a variety of postures and poses with a special emphasis on alignment, increasing body heat, and strength building. No two classes are alike but don’t be surprised to see a mixture of sun salutations, standing poses, balancing postures, seated and reclining poses, backbends, and core isolations.

Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga

Yin yoga works deeply into your muscles and connective tissues through extended holds of grounded poses. Your teacher will guide you through a gentle meditation practice providing a safe place for your mind and body to restore flexibility ‘locked up’ from past injuries and release stress. Specialized yoga props will be provided, such as bolsters, blocks, and blankets.

We have some fun, amazing classes that we bring onto the schedule once a month or once a year! Make sure to check the schedule for these wonderful opportunities.

Adult Ballet
Adult Ballet

In Adult Ballet at Nafas, you will learn, or review classic ballet technique. Classes will include barre exercises that focus on proper alignment, correct posture, and leg strength and flexibility. The center work will introduce elementary steps, simple jumps, as well as turns. No prior experience is necessary.

Please bring your own ballet shoes or wear socks.

Adult Lyrical
Adult Lyrical

Adult Lyrical at Nafas is a fusion of ballet and jazz dance techniques. You will learn a routine and foundational movements across the floor.

Please bring your own lyrical sandals or barre socks to class. If needed, Barre socks are available to be purchased at Nafas’s studio.

Meditation
Meditation

Meditation, also known as Mindfulness, is a method of self-care that allows us to reflect on our own mental and spiritual well-being. Meditation at Nafas will help with stress, anxiety, pain, and sleep issues. Your Meditation instructor will gently help retain your focus and assist you with a blissful experience.

What are your membership prices?

From a single class to unlimited classes, Nafas offers a variety of membership types and class options to help meet your fitness needs and work with your schedule. To learn more about our membership and class rates, please navigate to our Membership page.

What should I wear or bring?

Wear comfortable and supportive shoes. Fitness clothing that is comfortable and easy to move around in. Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.

What are the COVID precautions at Nafas?

At Nafas, our commitment to maintaining cleanliness has remained unwavering throughout the challenges posed by the pandemic. With stringent protocols in place, including regular sanitization of all equipment, meticulous hygiene measures, and adherence to public health guidelines, we make the safety and well-being of our members a priority.

Where do I park?

Nafas Fitness has free, on-site parking.

How do I sign up for weekly classes?

Attending classes at Nafas is easy. You can join and sign up for classes in person or online. To view the class schedule and/or sign up online, visit our Schedule/Sign Up page.

Can I bring a friend?

You can always bring a friend to Nafas, however, we do not offer free trials at Nafas.

Does Nafas have storage for belongings?

Nafas has cubbies, and coat hooks to store your items while you attend class. 

For the safety and well-being of our patrons, we kindly request that individuals limit themselves to a maximum of two classes per day at our studio. Exceeding this limit may lead to muscle fatigue, increased risk of overuse injuries, and mental and emotional fatigue, potentially resulting in injury. We care deeply about the health and safety of our members, and it’s important to note that injuries sustained from overexertion could not only affect your well-being but may also pose a liability for Nafas. We prioritize your long-term health and fitness journey and believe that allowing adequate time for rest and recovery is essential for achieving sustainable progress while minimizing the risk of injury. We encourage all participants to listen to their bodies, practice moderation, and prioritize recovery to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience at our facility.
